Email To-Groups Descriptions

When creating an email in GoExpo, you must select a To Group. Simply, the To Group is needed so that GoExpo knows who to send the email to. 

 

To Group is a term used often in GoExpo when discussing the intended recipients of a campaign you wish to send. There are many different To Groups to choose from, including those with a predefined rule that indicates exactly who you are sending the email to, as well as those which you can create yourself from an external mailing list.

 

It is very important to note that not all To Groups function the same, so be sure to read the descriptions below before sending to a To Group for the first time.

 

 

All Attendees

All Attendees in the system.

 

All Attendees Who Have Not Logged In

Attendees in the system who have not yet logged into their account.

 

All Attendees Who Have Not Updated Their Profile

Attendees in the system who have not updated their profile, including those who have only logged in.

 

New Attendees

An email set to send to New Attendees will send to any new attendee that has been added to the system from the point immediately after the email is set. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled. If the Email Attendee checkbox is selected when entering a new attendee into the system, the attendee will receive this email.

 

Attendees After New Purchase

If attendee upgrades are turned on, the attendee will receive this email after their purchase is complete.

 

All Exhibitors - All Contacts

All emails entered into the exhibitor’s profile will receive this email. This includes the Internal Contact Email, the Directory Contact Email, and the Bill To Contact.

 

All Exhibitors - Directory Contact

All emails entered into the Directory Contact Email field in the exhibitor’s profile will receive this email.

 

All Exhibitors - Internal Contact

All emails entered into the Internal Contact Email field in the exhibitor’s profile will receive this email.

 

All Exhibitors - Bill To Contact

All emails entered into the Bill To Contact Email field in the exhibitor’s profile will receive this email.

 

All Exhibitors Who Have Not Logged In - All/Directory/Internal/Bill To 

Exhibitors in the system who have not yet logged into their account.

 

All Exhibitors Who Have Not Updated Their Profile - All/Directory/Internal/Bill To

Exhibitors in the system who have not updated their profile, including those who have only logged in.

 

New Exhibitors - All Contacts

An email set to send to New Exhibitors will send to any new exhibitor that has been added to the system from the point immediately after the email is set. This includes the Directory, Internal, and Bill To contacts. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled. If the Email Exhibitor checkbox is selected when entering a new exhibitor into the system, the exhibitor will receive this email.

 

All Exhibitors Who Have Not Posted a Product - All/Directory/Internal/Bill To

 All exhibitors who have not uploaded product materials into their account, regardless of whether or not they have purchased a product upgrade.

 

All Exhibitors With a New Booth Confirmation - Internal Contact

An email set to this group will only send twice a day to exhibitors that have a new booth confirmation that has been approved by the show. Scheduled emails are sent twice a day: 5 AM EST and 4 PM EST. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled. The email will only send to the Internal Email contact, not to the Directory or Bill To Email contact.

 

All Exhibitors With an Updated Booth Confirmation - Internal Contact

An email set to this to group will only send twice a day to exhibitors with an updated booth confirmation that has been been approved by the show. Scheduled emails are sent twice a day: 5 AM EST and 4 PM EST. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled. The email will only send to the Internal Email contact, not to the Directory or Bill To Email contact.

 

Floor Plan Exhibitors - Internal Contact

Exhibitors who have a booth on the floor plan indicated by the to group. The email will only send to the Internal Email contact, not to the Directory or Bill To Email contact.

 

Exhibitors After New Purchase - All Contacts

An email set to send to this to group will send to the Internal, Directory, and Bill To contact for any exhibitor who makes a purchase in the system. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled. If the Email Exhibitor checkbox is selected when upgrading an exhibitor in the system, the exhibitor will receive this email.

 

Exhibitors With a New Invoice - All Contacts

If an exhibitor has had a new invoice generated - It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled.

 

Exhibitors With Balance- All Contacts

If an exhibitor has a balance due at the time of scheduling the email campaign to send.

 

All Seminar Registrants

All users in the system with a seminar added to their planner, regardless of the seminar.

 

List: *Mailing List Name Here*

A mailing list that has been uploaded to the system. (These are not affiliated with exhibitor accounts – it is simply a list of email addrersses that can be uploaded into the system.

 

Segment

Any segments that have been created in the system.

 

Form Completion

If a form has been created in the system and is being utilized in a way that submitters are asked to enter information into a specified Email Field, an email set to send to the To Group in relation to that form will be sent to all emails entered into the specified Email Field. It will remain in a perpetual state of Pending when turned on, and thus does not need a date/time scheduled.

 

Unpaid Form Submissions

If an exhibitor has completed a form, added items to their cart, and generated an invoice, but they did not submit a payment at that time, they will be in this group at the time of scheduling.

 

Form Payment

If an exhibitor has completed a form, added items to their cart, generated an invoice, and paid for their items, they will be in this group at the time of scheduling.
